Decolourization

For 20 years SEPAR CHEMIE has been developing chemicals for the purification of wash water in the paint-, varnish- and glue- industry.

Precipitants for wastewater treatment

Solute pigment particles from industrial wastewater can be removed with our POLY SEPAR® CFL and POLY SEPAR® L products. Our polymers have a decolourizing effect by destabilising and precipitating most natural and synthetic pigments.  The last turbidity in the water is purified by adding special activated charcoal.

Adsorbants and flotation aids for decolourization

The dosage level of POLY SEPAR® CFL determined in laboratory tests is added to the wastewater to be treated with a high level of incorporation energy. We recommend subsequent treatment with our adsorbents or flotation agents to remove the destabilized pigment particles.

Individual formulae for paint contaminated wastewater

We can also adapt the formulae, and thus the product properties, to the task at hand on the basis of laboratory tests.
