Sustainability is another central pillar of our work. We strive to protect our environment and use resources responsibly. We achieve this through environmentally-friendly practices, sustainable procurement and by promoting awareness of ecological issues.
Environmentally friendly working in the office and in the field
- In the office, we rely on digital processes to save paper and resources.
- We offer remote working to save trips to the workplace.
- We only use green electricity and energy-efficient devices.
- Our employees practise environmentally conscious behaviour, such as waste separation and the economical use of energy.
- We attach great importance to sustainable mobility by promoting the use of hybrid and electric vehicles in our fleet.
Sustainability in logistics processes
Sustainability is an important topic for us. In our production and downstream processes, we strive to make a positive contribution to environmental protection:
- The IBCs in which our products are delivered are largely recycled.
- We use freight forwarders with consolidated cargo loading options
- As well as parcel service providers that support climate protection projects and thus offset greenhouse gas emissions.

Our social commitment
For us, social commitment is more than just an obligation – it is a matter close to our hearts that motivates us every day to support various projects and initiatives to help disadvantaged groups.
- For years, we have been supporting various social institutions, including ‘Doctors Without Borders’ and ‘Aktion Deutschland Hilft’.
- We deliver products free-of-charge to ISAR, which are used in disaster areas for drinking-water treatment.
- We also offer internships and apprenticeships to support young people in their professional development.

Environmentally-friendly water treatment

In this context, the use of environmentally-friendly products for the treatment of wastewater is playing a progressively important role. SEPAR CHEMIE produces and distributes many products that promote and improve the sustainability of our customers’ processes. Reduced water consumption or a reduced need for raw materials can be decisive factors. Thanks to our continual research, our product range is constantly being expanded.
